Paramount to this policy is the identification and the management of risk. We are committed to the reduction of risk to the lowest level possible. This will be achieved by identifying hazards, making an assessment of the risks involved and taking the appropriate actions at all stages.
Our workforce is our key resource, and we believe that a good standard of health and safety leads toward their development; and will improve the overall business performance. The achievement of a high standard of occupational health and safety awareness and its realisation throughout Truecut’s activities is essential and will result in greater efficiency, better working conditions and will enhance the company’s reputation as both an employer and a market leader in the concrete drilling and sawing industry.
Healthy and safe working conditions create an environment from which the employer and employee benefit and it is the responsibility of both the management and employees to work together to help achieve this aim.
It is our aim that all injuries and accidents are prevented. Our site supervisors are responsible for the well being of our employees and for carrying out their duties in accordance with this policy. Safety is an integral part of every job we undertake. We will therefore establish an organization structure with clearly defined responsibilities for each individual, and we will actively promote participation from each individual in an open door policy to all matters regarding health and safety.
By reviewing the health and safety policy and its performance annually, achievements will be recognized and targets will be set for the following year. The company will provide all necessary resources to help achieve these targets.
